Duskloom ยท last updated 10 August 2026
Duskloom collects nothing about you. The app makes no network requests for anything it does, with a single exception: verifying a purchase, described below.
What we collect
Nothing. No account, no email address, no name, no device identifier, no advertising ID, no location, no analytics, no crash reporting, no cookies.
Why we can say that so plainly
Every sound in Duskloom is generated on your device as it plays, rather than streamed or downloaded. There is no server the app talks to for sounds, settings or usage. You can verify this: put the phone in airplane mode and every part of the app works exactly as it does online.
What stays on your device
Your levels, your saved mixes, your chosen hero shape and your day or night preference are stored locally on the phone. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases
If you buy Duskloom Complete, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your name, your email address or any payment details.
We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is valid. This is the one time the app contacts a server. It sends your anonymous store receipt and a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to you, your device or any account. It is used only to confirm that the unlock was paid for, and to restore it if you reinstall. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Notifications
If you set the wake alarm, the app asks the operating system to show a notification at that time. The alarm is scheduled on your device and is not sent anywhere.
Children
Duskloom is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal data from anyone, children included. The only information ever transmitted is an anonymous purchase receipt, and only if someone buys the unlock.
Your rights
Rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none. The purchase receipt described above is anonymous and cannot be traced back to you, so there is nothing to request, and nothing for us to hand over if we were ever asked.
Changes
If this ever stops being true โ if a future version needs the network for anything beyond purchase verification โ we will update this page and say so clearly in the release notes before the change ships.
